From the outside, the sink appears as a simple, almost solid block. Inside, the walls descend into a deep basin, revealing a completely different sense of scale and proportion.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eAt the bottom, a black stainless-steel grid creates a strong contrast with the Sunbeam Yellow concrete. The grid forms a second surface within the basin while allowing the water to disappear beneath it. It is removable for easy access and cleaning.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eSunbeam Yellow is a warm, saturated yellow developed to give the heavy geometry of VATHOS an unexpected brightness. The color is created with pigments mixed directly into the concrete — it is not painted.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eEach DORIAN VATHOS is individually handmade from GFRC concrete in my Athens workshop.
