A black stainless-steel grid stretches across the basin, partially hiding the bowl beneath and transforming the surface into a composition of lines, depth and shadow.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe faucet sits on its own raised concrete platform, separated from the basin by a subtle change of level. From above, the sink reads almost as a solid architectural object; only through the grid is the curved basin underneath gradually revealed.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eHandmade in Iron, the concrete has a deep mineral character with natural variations from charcoal to softer grey. The color is created with pigments within the concrete rather than applied as paint, allowing the material itself to remain visible.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe black grid is made from stainless steel, designed specifically for the basin and removable for access and cleaning.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eEach DORIAN SKIA is individually handmade in my Athens workshop.
